Joel Murovitz - Vice President
Joel Murovitz is responsible for managing the Company’s project entitlement process, including the coordination of architectural and engineering design, municipal approvals and permitting. On certain projects, he also oversees site work bidding and land development. In this capacity during the due-diligence period, Mr. Murovitz commissions preliminary engineering reports and resolves issues relating to entitlements, development agreements, municipal approvals, title encumbrances, wetlands, utility capacities and impact fees.
Mr. Murovitz joined Inland in 2004 as the Director of Operations for a management subsidiary of Inland Retail Real Estate Trust, Inc where he was responsible for managing capital improvements and preventative maintenance for the portfolio. Prior to joining Inland Retail, Mr. Murovitz was an Associate at Robert Charles Lesser and Company, a real estate development consultant. There he performed market analysis, financial feasibility, and consumer research studies for private entities and municipalities. In addition, Mr. Murovitz worked as an engineer with Parsons Brinckerhoff in Tel Aviv, Israel and Willmer Engineering in Atlanta, GA.
Mr. Murovitz holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Management (MBA) from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is also a licensed real estate broker.
