Barry Lazarus - CEO

Mr. Lazarus is our CEO and has thirty five years of experience in all facets of the real estate industry. He has responsibility for oversight of the Company’s strategic direction and implementation of board policy. His main focus is in the area of financial oversight, including debt and equity funding.

Prior to joining the Company, from 1999 through early 2007, Mr. Lazarus was President and CEO of Inland Retail Real Estate Trust, Inc., the fifth largest open air shopping center owner in the United States. In that capacity, he oversaw acquisitions, financing and other investment activities of the firm. His interaction with various company departments including accounting, legal, property management and development enabled Inland Retail to effectively coordinate its major operating divisions. Inland Retail was sold in February, 2007.

After a brief career in public accounting, Mr. Lazarus joined the Inland organization in 1973 as it’s original controller and was later promoted to Treasurer. Since that time, Mr. Lazarus has had executive level responsibility for land acquisition, development, construction, financing and investment related to numerous properties and projects.   

He received his B.B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin and is a certified public accountant.

Old National Market Place is the second premiere shopping center for the Old National Highway corridor.

The development will contain a ± 297,000 square foot retail center to include seven (7) outparcels.
